Written during her time in Los Angeles, "On My Way" was crafted in a studio session that Krystal describes as lightning in a bottle. "The song filled the room with color. It was so different," she says.

Inspired by artists like Tate McRae, and Ariana Grande, and Olivia Rodrigo, Krystal is shaping her own pop sound for a new generation of listeners: one that pairs her ability to tap into emotion with a bit of cinematic flair appropriate for her larger-than-life vocal presence. 

Her songwriting style begins with a feeling and unfolds like a film, building out fictionalized characters and soundscapes from the seed of something deeply personal. She mines from her own experiences and the lives of those around her and pours her findings into her art, gifted with the ability to pull relatable moments from just about anything. 

The South Florida teenager first made waves when she earned the Golden Ticket on Season 23 of American Idol, a transformative experience that put her on the national stage and yielded an audience hungry to hear more.  Krystal's Cuban and Argentine roots, combined with her contemporary instincts and undeniable vocal talent, set her apart in today’s pop landscape. Her covers on TikTok have already built a base of listeners drawn to her tone and presence, but original music — telling her own stories — has always been the vision.
